We transformed a blank canvas into a pretty wildlife friendly back garden. The compact raised patio faces East and is the perfect spot for morning coffee and a second patio was placed at the far end of the garden to catch the evening sun. A bespoke oak pergola encloses the patio and, once covered with climbing roses, will provide a screen from neighbouring properties. A brick path connects the two patios and curves its way through cottage style planting, via a tiny pond teeming with wildlife and past the garden shed tucked away behind a curving trellis which will eventually be covered with clematis.
