Woodcote Garden Design

Former small holding, this 1/3-acre plot was transformed from overgrown orchard, choked by brambles and nettles to a serene wildlife garden with curving gravel paths and sumptuous naturalistic planting.  The deck over the pond is a lovely place to sit and observe the visiting dragonflies and birds. The large terrace is a great place to relax on comfy sofas with friends. The kitchen garden has productive raised beds and a traditional cedar greenhouse with plenty of outside space for potting and pottering. The end of the garden has been left with some of the original plum and apple trees and is now occupied by a flock of hens who enjoy foraging in the long grass and buttercups.
